Fix 1:

  • Locate the sound icon on your Taskbar, and right-click it
  • Click on the Sound Settings
  • In the input, choose your default input device
  • Click the Sound Control Panel option located at the right section of your screen
  • Here, open the Recording tab
  • Right Click your input device, and set it as the default device
  • Right-Click again, and click on set as the default communication device.

Fix 2:

  • Run the game as an Admin.
  • You can do this by right-clicking on the game’s icon, and choosing the Run as administrator option

Fix 3:

  • Head to the Windows Settings page
  • Here, select the Privacy Section
  • In the left menu, scroll down till you see Microphone. Click on it
  • Make sure you have allowed apps to access your Microphone

Fix 4:

  • Update your microphone’s drivers
  • This should be available with your Windows update.
  • If not, type in Drivers in the search tab of the Taskbar
  • Select the Device Manager option
  • Here, locate your input device, and click on it.
  • Head to the Drivers tab, and select Update Driver if available

  • Check your in-game settings
  • Open your game, and head on over to the settings
  • Here, open the Audio tab, and head to the Voice Chat tab
  • Make sure you have selected the appropriate input device
  • Check for the Push to talk option buttons settings
