But according to the words of the game’s official website, it will instead be released later this summer.

Resident Evil Re:Verse puts four to six players in a Resident Evil-inspired deathmatch as part of the festive multiplayer game. Jill Valentine, Claire Redfield, Leon S. Kennedy, Nemesis, Hunk, Chris Redfield, Ada Wong, and Jack Baker are among the playable characters in Re:Verse, which is billed as a celebration of the survival horror franchise’s 25th anniversary. The Resident Evil mash-up features a cel-shaded comic book look that attempts to unite the series’ history and present.
